During his Northern California Start-Up Chile promotional tour, Diego Alcaino had the one-in-a-million chance to meet Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook and the youngest billionaire in the world, worth approximately $4 billion USD due to his 24% stake in Facebook.
Zuckerberg is one of the most successful startup entrepreneurs who, like many of his peers, had an innovative idea, ran with it, and found great and nearly unmeasurable prosperity. As a young computer programmer, his entrepreneurial spirit lead him to study at Harvard where he created Facebook along with three other classmates, in his dorm room, on February 4th, 2004. He has since moved to Palo Alto, California (where Start-Up Chile’s California office is located) to continue developing Facebook into one of the most popular websites in the world used by more than 500 million people around the globe.
Good move Diego!
